Hot of the press are the new models from Musica, hand made in Japan the new 60 series are here. The range consists of three new models, a 40 watt integrated amplifier, a pre amplifier and a 50 watt power amplifier completes the range.

Pre-60

● Bass Compensation circuit for small speakers Low frequency (below 100Hz) can be enhanced up to 10dB.

● Tube based buffer circuit Tube buffer circuit (can look through a window on the top panel) to make a digital sound smoother and warmer.

● Various input terminals A Apart from 3 x Line inputs, MC phono input and USB input are equipped with.

● Fully Nonferrous cabinet. To avoid influences by magnetism, the chassis is made fully from non-iron materials: Front panel : Solid aluminum plate. Case : Aluminum plate.

● Half size 217(W) x 213(D) x 57H) mm compact size. Two units make a standard rack size(435mm)

● Switching power supply is not used. This amplifier is based on a pure analog circuit without a switching power supply, while many of compact sizeamplifiers on market are based on a switching power supply.

Power amplifier: pow60 ● Drives speakers at a low impedance Recent low-impedance and low-efficiency speakers require an amplifier with high driving power and high-speed.

A compact pow60 make an enough power(50W/channel) to drive such speakers easily. ● Equipped with Tube based buffer. Tube buffer circuit (can look through a window on the top panel) to make a digital sound smoother and warmer.

The OYAIDE story

Oyaide’s History In 1952 Oyaide Elec. Co., Ltd. began business as a small store in the Akihabara area of Tokyo, specializing in the sale of electrical wires. Though we sold mainly magnet wires in the beginning, as our business grew, we expanded our offerings to include a wide variety of electrical cables, including industrial electrical wires, electrical wires for electrical equipment, and coaxial cables. Oyaide began dealing in audio cables about 30 years ago. From that time, the importance of high quality cables for audio systems began gradually to be recognized, and as a consequence, the number of customers requesting them increased as well. The founder, Kazuji Oyaide, who always listened and responded to the customers’ need, developed our first power distribution box “OCB-1” designed exclusively for audio use and brought it to market. He then developed our first speaker cable, the “OR-800” , which incorporates OFC litz in a “Star-Quad” Structure. Though these items were sold only at our store in Akihabara, they quickly developed a wide following among audiophiles throughout Japan. Since Satoru Murayama took office as president in 2000, Oyaide began the development of cables and accessory parts for audio in earnest. Over time Mr. Murayama demonstrated exceptional ability as a designer of speciality electrical cables. After becoming president, he led Oyaide in the development of a new and far-reaching business model. He deftly arranged crucial and strategic partnerships with manufactures and subcontractors who each excel in their own area of expertise, thus ensuring that all Oyaide’s products are manufactured to the highest standard possible. In development, each new Oyaide product is carefully scrutinized from a variety of technical viewpoints, making sure that its performance is based on sound technical theory. Philosophy All Oyaide products are made with the materials that are processed exclusively in Japan. This insures the highest standard of reliability, quality, and value and that the latest and most sophisticated technological processes are employed. Revolver Music 1 reviewed in the HiFi Journal

The superb little Revolver Music 1 has recently been nicely reviewed in the hifi journal, here below are a few extracts.


Regardless of the type of music or the quality of the recording, the Music Series 1 was extremely enjoyable to listen to.

the scale of the performance and image it is able to produce is fantabulous for the money and size of speaker.

This inherent ‘rightness’ of the speaker means you tend to forget about any weaknesses in the performance and simply enjoy the music, which is what it is all about.

Vocals are rich and expressive, instruments full bodied and realistic.

The bass is rhythmical, tightly controlled and punchy, the midrange is beautifully lucid and open, and high frequencies are smooth and delicate with no hint of sharpness



In the Music Series 1, Revolver has managed to produce a beautifully balanced speaker that will suit a wide musical repertoire. It manages to combine a good degree of accuracy with excellent musical insight, timing and rhythm. I feel that these qualities far outweigh the compromises. It is a speaker I could quite happily live with and enjoy listening to every day.
