Kudos Titan T88
The complex cabinets are made from high density MDF varying in thickness from 25mm to 50mm. Internal bracing and specific damping is used to optimise cabinet resonance and a tri-laminate front baffle houses the drive units. The upper cabinet, which contains the tweeter and midrange / bass unit, is port loaded into an optimal boundary gap created by precision machined spacers that separate the upper and lower cabinets.
The lower cabinet houses the two bass drivers in an isobaric arrangement placed back to back with the rear driver out of phase. Exhaustive testing has proven this arrangement to virtually eliminate non linear 3rd order harmonics and produce a significantly improved bass response over other isobaric designs. This bass section also ports into the optimal boundary gap: having the ports from both sections close together and operating in a shared and controlled space minimises phase discrepancies to produce a harmonious port response.
The lower cabinet is securely attached to the tri-laminate plinth via spacers to control cabinet to plinth energy transfer. The plinth itself provides the best possible grounding interface with very high density MDF being combined with a damping compound and a 5mm steel plate, into which precision milled spikes are fitted, manufactured for Kudos by Track Audio.
The drive units are some of the best in the world and are produced for us by SEAS in Norway – a company with almost 60 years of expertise in this field. The tweeter is developed exclusively for Kudos from the famous Crescendo unit. The main midrange / bass driver and the twin bass drivers are specific to the Titan T88 and combine with the tweeter to produce seamless integration and response over the frequency range.
The best way to ensure the listener can connect with the musical message is to keep the crossover design as simple as possible. This can only be achieved with excellent drive unit integration thus allowing the crossover design to be of a minimal, low order construction to reduce “ringing” and other unwanted artefacts. The crossover components are from Clarity Caps and Mundorf and are hand matched to ensure tolerances are reduced to nominal levels.
The crossover itself is a low order, two and a half way design where the bass section in the lower cabinet is rolled off early in the frequency range, the mid/bass driver and tweeter are then operated as a two way design. A slow roll off of all the drivers ensures optimal coherence though the crossover regions.
Chord Company internal wiring has been carefully chosen for its high quality, musicality and resistance to the effects of vibration. Chord Company cables also link the two cabinets, which are fitted with Furutech pure copper Torque Guard binding posts to ensure a superb connection.
The Titan T88 redefines what Kudos can achieve with the hi-fi attributes of musical reproduction and combines these with an innate understanding of the music itself. The ability of the loudspeaker to allow you to enjoy your music collection is the attribute we value above all others and with the Titan T88 we have reached our ultimate expression of this to date.

Revolver Music 1 reviewed in the HiFi Journal
Regardless of the type of music or the quality of the recording, the Music Series 1 was extremely enjoyable to listen to.
the scale of the performance and image it is able to produce is fantabulous for the money and size of speaker.
This inherent ‘rightness’ of the speaker means you tend to forget about any weaknesses in the performance and simply enjoy the music, which is what it is all about.
Vocals are rich and expressive, instruments full bodied and realistic.
The bass is rhythmical, tightly controlled and punchy, the midrange is beautifully lucid and open, and high frequencies are smooth and delicate with no hint of sharpness
In the Music Series 1, Revolver has managed to produce a beautifully balanced speaker that will suit a wide musical repertoire. It manages to combine a good degree of accuracy with excellent musical insight, timing and rhythm. I feel that these qualities far outweigh the compromises. It is a speaker I could quite happily live with and enjoy listening to every day.

PacoHUM reviews the Tellurium Q Ultra black speaker cables
After turning on the system and let it run for 1 hour, then it was time to sit and listen. Still with reference loudspeaker cable on the system, American-made and cost around 300 euros per meter (slightly more expensive than the Ultra Black), and the best cable at that price level that had been here so far.
We heard several pieces from different genres of music to try:
Isao Suzuki Quartet, Blow Up - Aqua Marine
Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio Misty - Misty
Patricia Barber, Companion - The Beat Goes On
Johnny Cash American Recording - Bird on a Wire
We proceed to a rapidly changing cable and put in place to test Tellurium Q Ultra Black.
Normally, when we speak of a cable one tends to look for differences in timbre nuances, more or less level of information, location of instruments, acoustic levels. In all these respects the Tellurium Q Ultra Black is fantastic and clearly above the reference lead.
At the beginning of Aqua Marine’s metals we can distinguish how they move through the virtual scene with a clarity and a level of reality that is now truly incredible, while we can clearly distinguish the sound of the different metal sounds. The bass played with a bow by Isao Suzuki on this piece has a lot of amazing detail: we can hear when the bow rests on the strings, the movement of fingers across the neck etc...
The timbre of Ultra Black is extremely natural, the level of detail and the amount of information that comes through now is fabulous, but Lord, what is really amazing is how the Ultra Black allows the system to play the attack of the notes and their decay. That is something that simply had never been heard in this way before. On the theme Misty, Tsuyoshi Yamamoto's piano is experienced like never before. The notes are now well defined, we can clearly see with a surgical precision, reality and total accuracy how the hammers hit the strings, the sharp attach of the notes and their decay, the actions on the piano’s pedals, and something even more amazing: the silence between notes! The feeling is that Mr. Yamamoto plays piano in a more decided way and that the music flows more naturally ... all with an absolute natural timbre, a superb soundstage and tons of detail.
Patricia Barber's voice and the sound of Johnny Cash are very good ... the bass line has a depth and definition that should be taught in cable making schools, if any existed. Patricia Barber’s voice has a full and soft sound, while Cash's voice is presented in its "weight" and solemnity, and we appreciate with clarity the soft sound of Johnny’s lips as they prepare for the next word that he will sing, great!
Speaker cables may be better, but so far I have not heard them.
* Mr. Colin James Wonfor, the designer of Tellurium Q cables, tells me that there will a new reference soon... I can't wait to see if the Ultra Black can been surpassed!

Tellurium Q
'Oh no' you may well be saying not another cable company putting their own spin on their wonderful new idea of why their cable stands out more than the others and is the best yet, yawn you may well think, I've read it all before, a cable is just a cable.
I must also point out that I'm not a great lover of reviews simply because I think you need to have a product for a good fews months to really see and understand what it is doing, have some thing for a few days or weeks really only gives a partial side, which can be wrong, why do I think this? simply through experience, for example trying the John Blue JB4 MKII, only first play I thought my god what are these, these are horrid and if I had written a quick fire review I would have got it all so wrong because now some 4 to 5 months down the line the sound has changed completely and now I love them, they image like no other, they may lack air and bass, but the resolution in the midrange is so pure and clean many other speakers sound murky in the all important mid range, hence why I believe you need a product and to make a kind of blog of what you discover on your journey of testing.
So getting back to the tellurium q range this is what I thought I would do, I'd make it in to a kind of blog, a progress report over time instead of a quick fire, hey man these are the best cables I've ever heard!
As I said it's new name to me and I was offered the opportunity to test and try the cables of which I am grateful to Colin and Geoff for allowing me the pleasure to see what all the fuss is about as by now I have read up on them and they a creating a bit of storm both on forums and in the specialist Hifi press, so hang on folks this many be a bumpy ride but lets get stuck in.
I noticed on the tellurium q website they don't go for fancy packaging so I had in mind when Geoff contact me the cables would turn up in a jiffy bag, how wrong could I be, in face the turned up in a very adequate box, perfect for the job, who really need a velvet luxury box and cables with fancy bits of wood stuck on them? The boxes do the job and they look more than good enough.
So what was eden audio sent, I was sent two cables, the Blue and the Black, the Blue being the entry level model at £16 I believe, this is sold without termination while Green comes factory terminated, I don't know if this will always remain the case but at the moment that's how it is.
If you don't know by now here is the system I would do the testing on:
Firstly my little demo room is kitted out with Acoustic revive RWL-3 acoustic panel diffusers, a dedicated mains line, power block is an Oyaide MTS6e, a CSE RK100 mains regenerater is used on the Astin Trew At3500 CD player which sits on an Acoustic Revive RAF-48 air isolation platform, the Astin Trew is also fed by is an Acoustic revive power cables and an Acoustic Revive RAS-14 mains stabilizer. Pre amp is a Kingrex preference feed by an Acoustic revive power cord, mono blocks are Huygens MHz power amplifiers feed by Oyaide Black mamba power cords, the speakers are the Kudos C30 sitting on Acoustic Revive RST-38 quartz filled isolation platforms, current speakers cables are the Acoustic revive SPC reference and interconnects are Oyaide AZ-910 which are pure silver, that gives you an idea of what system I would do the testing.
Looking at the cables, they are easy to use, by this I mean they are not stiff, unyielding and difficult to use, I hate cables that pull on your gear, why? I like the flexibility the Tellerium cables provide, they are thin and bend in to place easily. The Tellerium black also come with some very nice & well fitting bananas and heatshrinks with the name Tellerium printed on them in Gold.
First impressions are positive, Geoff told me to run them in which I have been doing over the past week, but now I need to send them off to a friend and I'll continue with this once I get them back, but first impressions are proving to be very positive, by replacing the Acoustic revive SPC cables which set very high standards at a very slightly higher price point than the Black, the Tellurium had a pretty hard act to follow, but follow it did, these cables offer a very similar performance quality.
I've not got the most refined tastes when it comes to music and I don't listen to the type of music one would normally associate with your average audiophile, so I've tried to use a eclectic choice of music ranging from demo CD to pop, vocal and jazz etc to get a more rounded idea of how the cables sound with each type of music.
Happily I can start of by saying you get a very refined sound for your money, I'm going to start of with the black, the black offers a lovely treble quality, many people say the Kudos C30s treble sounds harsh, no way josĆØ, the treble is beautifully smooth and liquid in its presentation, no brightness, spitiness or ear ache here, nothing is forced upon you or will cause you to wince in anguish and cover your ears, instead you get a beautifully poised treble that is nicely detailed and very smooth, you wont or don't hear every single wart and all imperfection instead you get the music, in fact it sounds as if your not listening to an electronic device such as a Hifi system, the cables don't go out for the jugular attack and assault on your ears, instead they treat them with care and tenderness in the way they caress them with such an enjoyable and refined sound.
Moving on to the soundstage, I like a well defined sound stage where every thing is in it's correct place and infocus where the vocalist is dead bang in the centre and singing personally to you, the tellerium presents a very well defined stage, maybe a tad more forward than the Acoustic revive, a bit more presence in the vocals which makes the sound that little bit more holographic and 3D like sounding. Instruments such as harps really burst forth from the speaker cabinets, such as on Natalie Coles mona Lisa track, piano sound relaxed and unforced, it's all very smooth and musically enjoyable, there is nothing worse than HiFi that all it wants to do is impress you with it's boom and tizz and in yer face style but forgetting about other qualities such as micro dynamics, naturalness and realism. If your picking up on one strong focus point about the tellurium Black and this it is very natural in it's presentation style, matched to extreme smoothness this is a cable you can enjoy for hours and hours.
This afternoon out came to black and in went the Blue, were they to sound the same? what about expectation bias? I'm just passing on my subjective thought, no blind test or not knowing which cable is what I will admit to that, but subjectively I do indeed notice some quite clear differences, the first thing is that treble, with the Blue in place you for sure lose some of the finesse and smoothness of the Black, the Black is in a different league, it still is smooth, but more shut in, not as sweet on the ear, lacking detail of the Black, you loss some air, some of the decay and spacial clues the Black has in abundance, also quite noticeable is the bass, it doesn't have the depth or texture of the Black, the Black reaches down deeper, the Black may be a slight overkill for speakers like the Kudos C30 in a small room where the bass may cause some room issue and turn a bit heavy, but you can notice bass is held back with the blue and you lose a bit of information about what the bass player is doing and impact from the kick drum, it's not as warm or as informative in those important lower reasons, maybe I'm making the cable sound a bit lacking, but this is not the case, I just think the Black has set a really high standard, but at the end it boils down to budget, your not being short changed with the Blue far from it, but it lacks the magical qualities the Black posses, the sound stage feels a bit more compressed, less airy and holographic, however, the image is still accurate and life like with the smoothness of the Black.
Clearly the Blue is a quality cable, the problem for me is the Black, if you was never to hear the Black you'd be one happy bunny, but once you get the Black in place you appreciate why your paying the extra, which really isn't that great if you take in to account the Black comes terminated.

Revolver Music 3
Due to the larger main driver employed by the Revolver Music 3 and the larger box size the first thing you will notice in the music 3 is the greater bass weight, this is ideal for those who have a slightly larger room size to enable there thing.
Not only that the Revolver music 3 present a larger stereo image and portrail of the music, the mid band really is spellbinding in it realism, vocals really do sound stunning through the Revolvers.
The Revolver music 3 matches superbly with the Sonneteer range of amplifiers such as the Sonneteer Alabaster, strawberries and cream combination when it comes to making music, you'll love it.

Acoustic Revive SPC Reference
PCOCC-A conductor PCOCC-A is an annealed version of PCOCC (mono crystalline high purity OFC) that was designed by Dr. Atsumi Ohno, - a Professors of Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan. The annealing process is necessary for any material to be used as an audio cable. However, these materials are affected by this process, introducing unwanted impurities into the crystal grain structure. PCOCC does not have crystal grain therefore, there is no possibility of impurities being introduced during the process. PCOCC maintains its high purity even after the annealing process converts it to PCOCC-A, and the crystal structure gives the best conditions for uniform directionality. PCOCC has hard single crystal, but once annealed and converted to PCOCC-A, conductivity improves and the material itself becomes flexible making it easier to use. | PCOCC is a registered trademark of Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. Section comparison of PCOCC (Top) and TPC (general copper/bottom |
Domination of solid single track cable Most speaker cables on the market consist of a multi-strand wire conductor which is made by many twisted thin wires. (Also Litz type speaker cable is made up of a group of multi-strand wire conductors) Due to stranded wire conductor being flexible and easy to use, most speaker cables on the market are made with a stranded conductor, however, multi-strand and Litz type wires generate stray current called “Strand jump phenomenon”. This straying current causes incidental sound and distortion in the signal transmission and is the cause of impurities and gradation of sound. SPC-REFERENCE uses a solid single-core structure in which the straying current is not theoretically generated. This allows a signal transmission extremely faithful to the original source without the incidental impurities in sound and distortion. In addition, flexible handling is achieved, by examining and improving the cable structure closely, we also achieved excellent flexibility. |
Air Insulation We were able to implement air layers by installing dummy tubes, thus improving the conductivity and reduce vibration. The conductors are virtually floating with six thick and thin dummy tubes. This also creates an excellent shielding effect, a superior dielectric constant and vibration control, giving optimum conductivity and a high quality, full-bodied sound. |
100% shielding with a copper foil SPC-REFERENCE is equipped with a copper foil shielding for a 100% shielding effect. Most ordinary speaker cables do not have any shielding, or they use mesh type shielding. The mesh type shielding is full of open spaces and is unable to completely eliminate noise. Furthermore, the meshed shielding itself generates stray current which reduces the sound quality. Also, shielding with aluminum foil or magnesium foil is not effective for the audio frequency range, this type of shielding pollutes the sound with the materials own characteristics. Copper foil shielding is the most effective for the audio frequency range. This creates a superior signal transmission with high S/N ratio |
Tourmaline containing sheath The outer sheath of the SPC-REFERENCE contains natural tourmaline powder. Tourmaline is an ore with slight potential which generates negative ions with an external stress such as electric current or vibration. SPC-REFERENCE can avoid electrical and transmission losses by generating negative ions itself when an electrical signal is passed through the cable |
We have a clear and pure sound with a solid single-core conductor.
An open and vast sound stage is created
by the air-insulation, full-bodied
and superior tone created by the tourmaline sheath.
The Cost to Performance ratio is simply superb.
