It has been known for a little while there are many fake Oyaide connectors on the market commonly found on Ebay. You sometimes even find certain individuals will be these counterfeit goods and the make some power cords using fake oyaides and then selling them on the other individuals, this illegal activity is undeclared to the Agencia Tributaria (The Spanish tax office) and no tax is paid, not only that these unscrupulous sellers are also selling you a product that has not passed any safety check that comply with EU law.Is it worth taking the risk to save a few Euros with these fake Oyaide connectors?
Now it has got even worse with one of the larger importers in Spain trying to undercut the official Oyaide importer for Spain, Eden Audio. This unscrupulous importer buys these counterfeit plugs for 3 euros and then tries to sell them to dealers for 10 euros!!
This activity is illegal, these Chinese sellers do not respect copyright law, these sellers use the name Oyaide to sell these nasty plugs, Oyaide are a high quality Japanese brand with years of experience, these sellers are trying to trade and benefit on that name, how can one of the biggest importers in Spain sell to his customers fake Oyaide goods? Is this ethical? shame on you, you are a disgrace to those who work hard, pure greed by the Spanish company, they will be exposed.
These illegal copies should be stopped, the fakers are destroying many companies, not only Oyaide, many other have suffered at the hands of counterfeit goods.
